The University of Tennessee Athletics Department and the Vol Network invited us and all Vol Network Affliates to join them for the Power T Party Saturday September 26,2009.Despite the rain we had a great time. We toured the Media Center and Press Level at Neyland Stadium to start the day. Then we celebrated at the Power T Tailgate Party(which was held indoors). Bruce Pearl was the featured speaker and then the party really started with the cheerleaders, Smoky and SmokyJr. The Vol Walk was cancelled but we still enjoyed the Pride of the Southland Marching Band and the rain actually stopped just before game time. It turned out the be the perfect night for a football game and Tennessee didn’t disapoint with a 34-23 win over Ohio which was the perfect ending to a fun filled day!
